Andy Sweet was an American photographer known for his vibrant and colorful images of the Jewish community in Miami Beach during the 1970s. His work often captured the daily life and rich cultural traditions of this close-knit community, which was experiencing a period of flux and transformation at the time. Sweet's photographs have been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world and are part of numerous public and private collections. Tragically, Sweet's promising career was cut short when he was murdered in 1982 at the age of 28. His work continues to be celebrated for its intimacy, authenticity, and warmth.
